Beech Spiral Staircase Poole
‘Spiral Staircase Poole’ was a basement conversion in the south coast town. A light and open spiral was required to the corner of the room which allowed the passage of light. Open risers and acrylic panels were crucial in matching our customer’s requirements.
The model 71 spiral staircase is a bespoke spiral. It is constructed with circular barrels which slid over the centre column and separate the solid wooden treads The centre column which is hidden on completion has a steel column running up the middle giving the entire spiral staircase stability.
The wood available for this stunning spiral staircase in always hardwood for strength :- Beech, Oak, Ash, Maple, Birch & Walnut
The balustrade wrapping around the perimeter of the spiral is formed with :- Vertical Steel Spindles, Horizontal steel rails, Curved acrylic panels, Curved Glass Panels, Curved Perforated Steel Panels

The steel tends to be either brushed or polished stainless steel or powder coated. The wood is either oiled, varnished or stained in the factory and sometime left untreated to be stained on site.
